I can remember a time where I questioned what I believed God wanted me to do at that moment. Now, its easy to look and say, knowing Christ we should always know who we are, what we are called to do, and so on. However, there are times that we may question due to listening to the wrong voice. In this brief moment, I was battling what I know God was telling me, with what my reasoning was trying to explain. You know that moment when someone says something and it makes you question if you heard God or not. Okay, I know i'm not the only one...so don't trip. What I love about God is that in His Word, He will correct you quickly! So while I was in our SUV heading home, the Lord had me in Romans. "God never changes his mind about the people he calls and the things he gives them." Romans 11:29 (New Century Version) Listen, it doesn't matter what others try to convince you of, you know what the Lord has called you to do. Its the enemies plan to pull you off course and sometimes the pull comes from sources you don't expect. It could be a friend, a co-worker, family member, a church me
mber and even a spouse. Regardless, know what the Lord has told you, know that He has not changed His mind. Know that He has not changed His mind on the things He gives you. So don't change your decision about doing what He called and receiving what He's giving you. Sometimes people will try to hold you back because they themselves don't want to see you grow afraid that you may surpass them. Listen, if we are all reaching for the same goal, then we should be lifting each other up, not holding each other back. The enemy steals, kills, and destroys. So he will try to steal your destiny, kill your dreams, and destroy your hope. Don't let him. He has no power. Remember, whats on the inside of you, God placed there. He never changed His mind, so your call, the plans He has told you, they haven't changed either. Watch God do it. Since God hasn't changed His mind, don't let the enemy change yours. Fight the battle of the mind, with the mind of Christ. Use the weapons He has given you, praise and prayer. Know that our God is never changing, therefore His plans for you, the life He promised you, the expected end, its still the same.
